Birthday Party Host

The YMCA of Metro Atlanta is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Birthday Party Host. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional experiences for our members and their families.

• Deliver high-quality birthday parties and special events at our facilities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
• Lead activities and games, promoting a fun and engaging environment for children and adults alike.
• Assist with setup and cleanup, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to member inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with our membership team to ensure seamless execution of events and activities.
• Stay up-to-date with branch and association certifications, including CPR/AED, Blood-borne Pathogens, and Branch Emergency procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including those related to COVID-19.

• Must be at least 16 years of age and have experience working with youth in a structured setting.
• Complete all required trainings prior to start, including CPR certification within the first 30 days of employment.
• Exemplify YMCA ideals, character values, leadership qualities, and excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to supervise and interact with children and adults in a professional and caring way.
• Strong customer service skills and personal commitment to service and hospitality.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, work independently, problem-solve, and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to implement all Association and Branch Safety Protocols, including those related to COVID-19.
