Job Summary

CEMEX is seeking a skilled Concrete Mixer Driver to join our team. As a Concrete Mixer Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete to various construction sites. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety First: Ensure a safe working environment by following all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Operate Ready-Mix Truck: Safely operate a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete to construction sites.
  • Check Loads: Verify that loads are properly secured and that the truck is in good working condition.
  • Estimate Slump: Estimate the slump of concrete to ensure it meets the required specifications.
  • Communicate with Customers: Communicate effectively with customers to ensure their needs are met and to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain Equipment: Maintain the ready-mix truck in good working condition, including regular cleaning and maintenance.
  • Meet Customer Expectations: Strive to meet customer expectations by delivering high-quality concrete and providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL: Possess a valid commercial driver's license (CDL A or B).
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to Detail: Possess attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions
  • Exposure to Extreme Weather Conditions: Work in extreme weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy objects.
