Job Summary:

A leading chemical manufacturing company, DSJ Global, is seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join their team in the Greater Houston Area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new processes, including heat transfer, equipment sizing, and material of construction selection.
  • Evaluate plant operations to identify potential processing hazards and quality control issues.
  • Manage capital projects, overseeing scope, schedule, and budget development and control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide Process Safety Management (PSM) support to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Utilize expertise in Process Unit Operations, including batch reactions, solids handling, filtration, and other chemical processing techniques.
  • Contribute to business growth by improving existing chemical tolling operations and evaluating process alternatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 15 years of experience as a Senior Process and/or Project Engineer in a plant setting.
  • Proven expertise in leading design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of new projects at the plant level.
  • Ability to support business growth by improving existing chemical tolling operations and evaluating process alternatives.
  • Strong process development and definition, detailed process design, project engineering, contractor supervision, QA, safety, and compliance skills.
