About the Role
Northside Hospital is a leading healthcare provider in Atlanta, committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing medical excellence. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in our team, working closely with physicians and advanced practitioners to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
As a Medical Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing patient care in accordance with Northside Hospital's philosophy and policies.
- Working under the guidance of physicians and advanced practitioners in the medical office setting.
- Performing specific duties and responsibilities assigned by the supervising physician(s), Clinical Leadership, and Scope of Practice after competency is established.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree from a Medical Assistant program or equivalent military experience.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
- Color vision acuity to safely perform lab duties.
Preferred Qualifications
We also welcome candidates with:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.
- Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
Work Hours
7:30am-4:00pm
