We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Specialist to become a part of our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our property is maintained to the highest standards, providing exceptional service to our residents.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execute routine maintenance tasks including painting, carpet upkeep, and appliance servicing
  • Diagnose and assist in repairs related to plumbing, HVAC systems, electrical issues, roofing, carpentry, and pool maintenance
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding service requests and the readiness of units
  • Prepare vacant units for incoming residents
  • Supervise the work performed by external contractors
  • Maintain the exterior grounds to enhance curb appeal
  • Manage expenses in accordance with budgetary constraints
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to residents
  • Engage in property events as required
  • Adhere to safety protocols and instructions
  • Support other tasks as directed by management

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in maintenance or a related field
  • Preferred certifications in HVAC and pool maintenance
  • Previous experience in property maintenance is advantageous
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a clean driving record
  • Availability for on-call emergency maintenance
  • Strong communication skills
  • Positive interactions with residents, colleagues, and vendors
