Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a safe and efficient surgical environment.

Job Summary:
  • Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and supplies
  • Ensure aseptic technique and maintain a clean and organized operating room
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for surgery by positioning them on the operating table and ensuring they are properly secured
  • Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and supplies, including sterilizing instruments and disposing of biohazardous materials
  • Ensure aseptic technique and maintain a clean and organized operating room, including cleaning and disinfecting surfaces and equipment
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures, including communicating with the anesthesiologist and other medical professionals
Requirements:
  • Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a surgical technologist or in a related field
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
