Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Upkeep: Execute daily cleaning operations, which include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of production floors, machinery, and communal spaces.
  • Hygiene Standards: Guarantee that all locations, such as production zones, restrooms, break areas, and offices, fulfill hygiene and sanitation requirements.
  • Waste Disposal: Gather and dispose of waste materials in accordance with company protocols and environmental laws. Ensure appropriate segregation and recycling of materials when applicable.
  • Safety Adherence: Follow safety guidelines and procedures to uphold a secure working environment. Promptly report any hazards or safety issues to the supervisor.
  • Equipment Care: Maintain and clean custodial tools and supplies. Inform the supervisor of any equipment failures or repair needs.
  • Supply Oversight: Monitor and manage the inventory of cleaning supplies. Reorder supplies as necessary and ensure adequate stock levels are sustained.
  • Facility Audits: Conduct routine inspections of the facility to proactively identify and resolve cleanliness or maintenance concerns.
  • Operational Support: Assist with special cleaning initiatives or tasks as needed to support manufacturing operations, including setup for new machinery or post-production cleaning.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience in custodial or janitorial roles, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial context.

    • Capacity to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry heavy items, stand for extended durations, and perform physical tasks related to cleaning and maintenance.
