Job Title: Master Scheduler

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Master Scheduler for our valve service business. As a crucial member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and managing comprehensive schedules for valve servicing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Schedule Development: Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and other stakeholders to develop detailed schedules for valve servicing projects, considering factors such as resource availability, project timelines, and client requirements.
  2. Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project scheduling requirements while optimizing utilization and minimizing costs.
  3. Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling-related communications, both internally and externally. Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution of scheduled tasks and timely resolution of any scheduling conflicts or issues.
  4. Monitoring and Adjustments: Continuously monitor project schedules and proactively identify potential delays or bottlenecks. Implement adjustments and reallocate resources as necessary to keep projects on track and meet deadlines.
  5. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project schedules, resource allocations, and scheduling-related communications. Generate reports and provide regular updates to management and project teams on schedule status and performance.
  6. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline scheduling processes and improve efficiency. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and standardize scheduling procedures.
  7. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all scheduled tasks are completed to the highest quality standards and in compliance with relevant regulations and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in scheduling or project management, preferably in a field related to valve servicing or industrial maintenance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address scheduling challenges effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and tools, such as Salesforce
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of valve repair experience and/or field service technician scheduling.
