The Practice
Our Private Equity team in North America is seeking Summer Associates to join its 10-week internship program. The team works with private equity investors throughout the deal transaction lifecycle, from opportunity identification to due diligence and post-transaction value realization. We take a multi-specialist approach to our engagements, bringing together deep industry and functional expertise, supported by proprietary approaches and a world-class network.
About The Role
We are looking for current MBAs with experience working in or interested in focusing on various industries, including FinTech, InsurTech, Communications, Media and Technology, Education, Industrials, Aviation/Aerospace, Government & Defense, and Healthcare. Summer Associates will join our practice for 10 weeks, working in teams directly with clients. Our internship offers excellent growth opportunities for talented, highly motivated professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop hypotheses and execute complex quantitative analysis through conducting and analyzing primary and secondary research.
- Drive development of primary research tools, including interviews, surveys, and focus groups, and analysis/distillation of insights.
- Drive insights through analysis of large datasets.
- Drive the storyline of workstreams.

- Minimum of 3-4 years of pre- and/or post-transaction experience working in private equity at a management consulting or PE firm.
- Some professional working experience with exposure to commercial and operational due diligence in a management consulting firm.
- Knowledge and in-depth experience with customer research techniques.
- A strong background in strategic problem-solving with demonstrable analytical skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both formal and informal settings.
- Fluent in English.
- An undergraduate or advanced degree from a strong academic program.
- A willingness to work fluidly and respectfully with our incredibly talented team.
