Key Responsibilities
- Engage with a diverse student body by tailoring course materials and teaching methods to meet varied cultural, linguistic, and academic backgrounds.
- Instruct undergraduate seminars in Art, focusing on topics such as "The Artist in Contemporary Culture" and "Medium and Message."
- Courses may be delivered in hybrid or online formats, incorporating significant studio components essential for all Art students.

- Collaborate with colleagues across various programs within the Department of Art and Art History.

- Utilize the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) for organizing all classes.
- Ensure classes are conducted as scheduled throughout the semester, adhering to the assigned delivery mode (asynchronous, synchronous, hybrid, or in-person).
Qualifications Required
A Master of Fine Arts degree or Ph.D. in Art History, Visual Culture, or a related discipline, along with substantial experience teaching studio art at the university level. Candidates should demonstrate a strong portfolio of creative work and research interests, familiarity with contemporary artistic practices, and the ability to effectively communicate complex texts to undergraduate students.
Applicants must exhibit an understanding of the educational objectives for a multicultural student population, which may be gained through relevant cross-cultural experiences.
Compensation
