Job Overview

StreetScan Inc is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sidewalk Data Collector to join our Data Collection Team. As a Sidewalk Data Collector, you will be responsible for collecting georeferenced image data in various municipalities across the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate our stroller-based mobile image data collection system and walk along predetermined routes using the ArcGIS Collector app and tablet.
  • Collect high-quality image data of sidewalks and other infrastructure.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and maintain focus on tasks assigned.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve in the field.
  • Follow instructions and procedures to ensure data quality and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and 1-3 years' long distance driving experience.
  • Safe driving record and ability to travel.
  • Basic computer knowledge and experience.
  • Ability to walk 15-24 km a day and maintain focus on tasks.
  • High School Diploma/GED and flexible to sudden changes in scheduling and duties.
