About the Job: AltaStaff is currently hiring 1099 Independent Contractors - Nurse Practitioners NP-C to review UAS Assessments in New York State.
Job Summary: The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and making recommendations on consumer assessments for long-term care services and supports. This includes maintaining current knowledge of regulatory changes, assessing cases presented, and utilizing clinical competencies to review and validate assessment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and make recommendations on consumer assessments
- Maintain current knowledge of regulatory changes
- Assess cases presented and utilize clinical competencies
- Work collaboratively to monitor and address clinical quality and gaps in care
- Provide clinical and educational assistance to support project initiatives
Requirements:
- Current NY Nurse Practitioner Licensure
- Proof of Board of Certification
- Proof of Malpractice Insurance
- 2+ years practicing experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Computer literacy and ability to navigate new technology
Estimated Salary: $95.00 hourly. Vacation Requirements: Proof of Covid19 Vaccine, Proof of Flu Vaccine, Physical exam signed and dated by a physician within the last year, PPD or QuantiFeron (within 1 year) or chest X-ray with Questionnaires (every 5 years), TDAP within 10 years, Quantitative Titers for MMR & Varicella, Hepatitis B vaccination schedule or Declination Form Also Accepted.
