Short Description:

The Endpoint Security Engineer will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining the security framework for our IT infrastructure. This position is vital for ensuring the integrity and protection of endpoint devices within the organization.

Complete Description:

The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge of advanced endpoint management and protection solutions, including but not limited to Microsoft Intune, Tanium, Jamf for macOS management, and CrowdStrike security protocols. Mastery in endpoint device management and patching is essential. Hands-on experience in implementing and overseeing technologies such as Device Provisioning, Windows Autopilot, and the creation and configuration of device policies is required. The Endpoint Security Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all endpoint devices are secure, current, and operating efficiently. Additionally, the role involves providing support to end-users, troubleshooting technical issues, and identifying opportunities for enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administer the Mobile Device Management (MDM) environment, including configuration of Intune and Autopilot.
  2. Maintain the development, testing, and production environments.
  3. Manage device policies and desktop applications within the organization.
  4. Deploy software updates and patches to endpoints using automated tools.
  5. Develop and sustain endpoint operating system infrastructure while performing routine maintenance as needed.
  6. Oversee components of Azure AD, Intune, Tanium, and Jamf.
  7. Troubleshoot endpoint issues and provide user support.
  8. Create and update endpoint agent policies according to requirements.
  9. Assist in validating implementation timelines and managing delivery processes.
  10. Communicate effectively with management and end-users while managing reporting processes.
  11. Drive endpoint solutions to achieve measurable improvements in OS deployment and user knowledge.
  12. Package applications and script for deployment on Windows and macOS.
  13. Provide timely updates on software releases and alerts.
  14. Support the design and implementation of scalable and secure mobility solutions using industry best practices.
  15. Create and maintain technical documentation and assist with training materials as needed.

Experience and Skills:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3+ years of experience with Windows OS updates.
  • 6+ years of progressive IT experience.
  • 5+ years in Endpoint Management and Security.
  • 3+ years of troubleshooting experience in endpoint engineering with scripting knowledge.
  • 5+ years of experience with device management platforms.
  • Strong understanding of network technologies.
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Subject-matter expertise in Endpoint Engineering, experience with Azure AD and Intune, and a relevant degree in IT or Cybersecurity.

Responsibilities:
