Toolmaker Position with Industry Leader

We are seeking a skilled Toolmaker to design, build, and repair custom tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures to support production activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in toolmaking, tooling, manual machining, CNC machining, and tool making. Responsibilities:
1. Design and build custom tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures to support production activities.
2. Operate manual and CNC machine tools to produce precision parts.
3. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate production.
4. Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to identify and implement tooling improvements.
5. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of tools and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve tooling problems swiftly and effectively.
7. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
8. Provide technical support and training to junior team members as required.
9. Stay up-to-date with the latest tooling technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:
1. A minimum of 3 years' experience in toolmaking or a related role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proficiency in operating manual and CNC machine tools.
3. Strong knowledge of tool design and fabrication techniques.
4. Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot tooling issues.
6. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
7. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
8. A proactive approach to learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends.
9. A strong understanding of health and safety regulations within a manufacturing environment.
10. Relevant certification or qualification in toolmaking, machining, or a related field is preferred.
