Job Summary

The Floor Supervisor is a key member of the store team, responsible for assisting and supporting the Store and Assistant Manager in all aspects of the store's operations. This includes personnel, product, merchandising, and visual functions, as well as business processes and results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Direct and motivate the store team to provide exceptional customer service, generate sales and profit, and maintain a visually distinctive and impeccably maintained store environment.
  • Associate Development: Assist in the development of associates through feedback, coaching, and training, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Operational Excellence: Maximize associate productivity, ensure compliance with company standards and policies, and maintain a results-driven environment.
  • Communication: Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clear and concise communication with team members and management.
  • Business Acumen: Develop proficiency in all operational policies and procedures, and make informed business decisions based on current sell-through strategies.
Managerial Responsibilities
  • Sales Growth: Maximize sales by ensuring the TH Customer Service program is executed to standard, and merchandise styles and sizes are well represented on the sales floor.
  • Training and Development: Assist with training, developing, and executing S.G.M. and TH Customer Service, ensuring team members have the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Communication and Analysis: Communicate statistical results and identify business needs, and communicate with team members at Take 5 meetings regarding individual sales performance and other key performance indicators.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with training, monitoring, and executing Direct Replenishment and Recovery process, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing losses.
  • Problem-Solving: Recognize problems, analyze causes, and generate alternatives and solutions, ensuring a results-driven environment.
Operational Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Understand and comply with all company policy, procedures, and operations, including receiving and processing shipments and transfers.
  • Security and Safety: Maintain the highest level of security and safety awareness within the store, ensuring a safe and secure environment for team members and customers.
  • Store Operations: Assist to ensure the store has all necessary tools and knowledge to maintain a visually distinctive and impeccably maintained store environment.
Leadership Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition: Work with store management to source the best talent through networking and recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and orientation process.
  • Associate Development: Assist in the development of all associates to be knowledgeable in areas of product and sales, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Team Engagement: Create energy, excitement, and recognition around team and individual accomplishment and successes, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
Merchandising and Visual Responsibilities
  • Visual Merchandising: Assist in making business decisions based on current sell-through strategies, and maintain elevated store presentation by training and overseeing standards as defined by brand standards and company directives.
  • Inventory Management: Keep management informed of all merchandise and visual related issues, and execute markdowns and re-merchandise as needed.
