We are seeking a skilled Civil Project Engineer to join our team at Ripple Effect Consulting. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and municipal infrastructure design.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with project teams to produce construction plans for diverse projects, ensuring adherence to design standards and specifications.
• Take ownership of the design process, producing complete sets of Construction Documents with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate effectively with internal team members throughout the plan production process.
• Design stormwater detention and water quality systems to meet project requirements.
• Provide clear guidance and markups to designers to ensure accurate project execution.
• Work closely with external consultants and architects to coordinate project design and resolve design conflicts.
• Assist in developing project scopes and schedules as needed.
• Conduct thorough analysis and design of utility, grading, paving, and drainage infrastructure components.
• Conduct site visits to verify field conditions and monitor construction progress.
• Review and process contractor submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive site investigation and development feasibility reports.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate effectively with clients.
• Offer guidance and mentorship to entry-level staff members to support their professional development.
• Perform quantity takeoffs, review shop drawings, and prepare bid specifications as required.
• Conduct quality control reviews of design projects to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Present projects to clients, agencies, municipalities, and the public to communicate project objectives and outcomes effectively.

Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 0-4 years of experience in civil engineering.
• Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
