Are you looking for a challenging opportunity in Aiken, South Carolina, as an Assembler? Emerson Discrete Automation is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Transfer components from staging areas to assembly benches.
  • Assemble valve or switch components according to assembly procedures and operation sheets.
  • Read and interpret gauges, flow meters, and power supply read-outs to make simple judgment calls in quality.
  • Perform required testing, including internal, external, mass spec, and functionality testing of completed valves, switches, and assemblies.
  • Obey all safety rules and stop work if continuing is unsafe or will create an unsafe condition. Report all safety concerns immediately.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the lead or supervisor.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate the ability to set up required equipment and identify production problems.
  • Demonstrate ability to understand quality requirements.
  • Able to use hand tools, torque drivers, and other equipment in a safe and accurate manner.
  • Display integrity, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one year of assembly, test, and pack experience.
  • Blueprint Reading course or equivalent.
