As a Part Time Educator, you will play a vital role in delivering our dynamic curriculum, engaging children in academic and social character-building activities that expand school day learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize program materials and document attendance, incidents, and observations
  • Deliver engaging lessons and activities that promote learning and social development
  • Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to ensure child safety and well-being
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel
  • Meet regularly with the Program Manager to discuss professional progress and team accountability

Requirements:

  • Outstanding customer service and relationship building skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; preferred: two years of college (48 units) or an A.A. degree (or higher)
  • Ability to lift 25lbs
  • Drive to inspire a love of learning and commitment to healthy living
  • Ability to meet state-specific requirements: LIVE Scan fingerprint, FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter training, Health Certificate with Negative TB Test
