- Based in our headquarters, the investment fund accountant will manage daily operations for various funds and managed accounts, which includes:
- Reconciling cash balances
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies
- Executing trades and completing end-of-day tasks
- Reviewing currency hedging strategies
- Calculating monthly performance metrics
- Preparing monthly financial reports
- Conducting turnover calculations
- Providing support for marketing presentations, RFPs, and DDQs
- Addressing specific client inquiries
- Engaging in long-term initiatives within the team and across the firm to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborating on cross-departmental projects with colleagues throughout the organization
- Proven experience in a comparable investment or fund accounting position within an asset management firm
- Familiarity with asset management, registered investment advisors (RIAs), and fixed income products
- Experience with public debt funds (UCITS and 40 Act)
- Knowledge of bank loans and derivatives is advantageous
- Advanced skills in Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
