Medical Documentation Coordinator

Our Pharmacy Medical Records Technician is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient files, ensuring seamless communication between our team and contracted long-term care facilities.
This individual must have a strong background in pharmacy operations and excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing corrections on monthly Physician's Orders with precision.
- Preparing and distributing Medical Administration Records, Treatment Administration Records, and Physician's Orders.
- Liaising with nursing staff to schedule monthly printing and verify record accuracy.
- Conducting regular Medical Administration Record reviews to identify potential errors or discrepancies.
- Configuring facility records for efficient medication management.
- Analyzing data entry procedures and generating reports to optimize workflow.
- Processing electronic prescriptions and managing patient profiles.
- Supporting data entry tasks and contributing to administrative duties as needed.
