Job Summary:
Summary: As a Cashier Team Member with Levy Sector, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. This role involves performing cashiering duties, including making cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform sales transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Enter all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
- Make change, accept declining balance cards, and other acceptable forms of payment; issue receipts to customers.
- Follow standard procedures for issuing cash refunds.
- Interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
- Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring that the cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards.
- Observe customer purchases in the cafe line and differentiate between standard portions.
- Replenish condiments, coffee, other beverages, and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas.
- Keep pastry case stocked.
- Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements.
