About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Member Services Representative at Planet Fitness. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring an outstanding experience in our Judgement Free Zone.

Key Responsibilities
  • Member Services: Greet members and guests, assist with questions and concerns, and promote our Judgement Free Zone by connecting with members on the club floor.
  • Membership Management: Resolve member concerns, process membership sign-ups, updates, cancellations, and transfers, and collect unpaid balances.
  • Phone and In-Person Support: Answer phones in a friendly manner, assist callers with inquiries, and provide support to members and guests in person.
  • Club Maintenance: Regularly clean and sanitize exercise equipment, Black Card spa amenities, and communal spaces, and ensure restrooms are clean and stocked.
  • Problem-Solving: Address maintenance and facility concerns, and promptly fix any safety or policy issues.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Background: Preferred experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Basic Computer Proficiency: Ability to use computer systems and software.
  • Passion for Fitness and Health: A genuine interest in fitness and health.
  • Positive Attitude: A friendly, approachable, and positive demeanor.
  • Punctuality and Reliability: Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong listening and problem-solving skills.
  • Diplomacy and Integrity: Ability to interact with members and colleagues in a professional and respectful manner.
