Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Driver and Warehouse Associate to join our team at Factory Cleaning Equipment by Jon-Don LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up equipment and supplies in a timely, safe, and courteous manner. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Responsibilities
  • Safely transport equipment and supplies to customer locations in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Determine each customer's ability to use the equipment in a safe and effective manner.
  • Demonstrate the use of rental equipment to customers and provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain accurate driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements and protocols, including those related to equipment operation, shop environment, and road safety.
  • Maintain the service and appearance of company vehicles and equipment.
  • Follow delivery and pickup instructions from dispatchers and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Clean and prepare rental and demo equipment for use, and maintain accurate records of equipment movement.
  • Prepare supply orders and send in parts orders as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a Class C CDL required.
  • Good driving record and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate common shop equipment.
