Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL driver to transport goods, livestock, or materials in liquid, loose, or packaged form, requiring a commercial driver's license.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
  • Report any vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
  • Verify load-related documentation for completeness and accuracy.
  • Operate equipment such as truck cab computers, CB radios, and telephones to exchange necessary information with bases, supervisors, or other drivers.
  • Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle service and repair status, adhering to applicable state and federal regulations.
Physical Demands

The employee must regularly lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
