About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at FedEx Freight. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless delivery of our services to customers.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. You will also be responsible for processing documentation, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient logistics operations.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, providing prompt and effective solutions to their needs.
  • Documentation Processing: Accurately process and maintain customer documentation, including shipping information, payment details, and other relevant data.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, shipments, and other relevant information.
  • Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Customer Service Experience: At least two years of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in logistics or transportation.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer systems, data entry, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and external partners.
Working Conditions

This role is based in an office/dock environment, requiring flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
