The Product Management Lead for Rack Scale Solutions is accountable for overseeing product strategy, inventory assessment, and component status evaluation throughout the product lifecycle. This includes promoting products, collecting and prioritizing customer and product requirements, defining the product vision, and collaborating closely with engineering, procurement, vendors, sales, marketing, and support teams to achieve revenue and customer satisfaction objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

The following key responsibilities are essential to this role (additional duties may also be assigned):

• Manage and promote in-house Rack Scale Solutions through the entire product lifecycle from Proof of Concept to End of Life.

• Lead a cross-functional team throughout the product lifecycle, overseeing in-house server products from initial concept to final phase-out.

• Conduct market and business trend analysis, developing strategies and initiatives to enhance market share through strategically positioned Supermicro server products, ensuring competitiveness.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure products align with external client expectations.

• Drive research and analysis of technology, customer, and competitor trends to formulate platform portfolio strategies and roadmaps.

• Engage with customers and internal teams to represent the voice of the customer in planning processes.

• Identify, prioritize, and address enterprise customer requirements for existing and emerging use cases, considering evolving data center deployment needs.

• Willingness to travel up to 20% based on business requirements.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience; a Master’s degree in an engineering discipline or business is highly preferred.

• Over 8 years of substantial experience in product leadership, planning, communication, organization, and team management skills.

• In-depth understanding of server products, their architecture, and product roadmaps.

• Strong business acumen with the ability to develop business cases, communicate effectively through professional presentations and written documentation, influence stakeholders, and measure success.

• Capable of developing, implementing, and assessing new and revised methods, procedures, and performance standards to achieve established goals.

• Self-motivated with a focus on achieving and measuring established objectives.

• Ability to foster and maintain positive working relationships with both clients and internal team members, effectively managing conflicts.

Salary Range:

$157,000 - $178,000

The offered salary will be influenced by various factors, including location, level of experience, education, training, specific skills, and comparisons to existing employees in similar roles. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may qualify for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
