At Anthropologie, we're seeking a talented Senior Casual Wovens Designer to contribute to our team's creative vision and drive the development of our seasonal collections. As a key member of our design team, you'll be responsible for forecasting fashion trends, collaborating with our production team, and ensuring that our designs meet the highest standards of quality and style.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Collaborate with our production team to source high-quality fabrics and materials that meet our budgetary guidelines.
  • Work closely with our design manager and buying team to review and refine our designs, ensuring they meet our brand's aesthetic and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
  • Present development samples and color palettes to our merchant team for review and feedback.
  • Manage and maintain our tech packs in PDM, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is available to our technical design team.
  • Travel to factories and vendors to oversee production and ensure that our designs are being executed to the highest standards.
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of experience in design, with a strong understanding of fashion trends and the Anthropologie customer.
  • Expert-level technical knowledge of apparel construction, including dyeing, silk screening, and washing techniques.
  • Extensive knowledge of fabric treatments, wash and dye techniques, and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to delegate and direct the daily activities of our design team.
  • Ability to articulate ideas clearly and inspire our team to achieve our creative vision.
