Job SummaryWe are seeking an energetic Sous Chef to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for food quality, consistency, and excellence. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that our residents and guests receive exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities- Oversee the preparation and presentation of meals, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse tastes and dietary needs of our residents and guests.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and execute special events and catering services.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Monitor inventory and manage kitchen supplies to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Culinary training through an accredited program or four years' experience in an equivalent position of responsibility.
- ServSafe certification or ability to complete certification within the first 90 days of employment.
- Catering experience a plus.
- Computer literate.
- Able to work all shifts and days of the week.
