Position Overview:

The Site Construction Manager will oversee and coordinate the construction operations of various projects, ensuring effective communication with clients, subcontractors, building inspectors, and other team members to deliver high-quality results on schedule. This role is pivotal in providing an Exceptional Customer Experience. A strong alignment with the company's mission and the ability to collaborate within a team setting are essential for success in this position. The Site Construction Manager will maintain a significant presence on-site and will be expected to apply their trade expertise as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing projects from inception to completion in line with the Construction Schedule.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered with zero defects under the guidance of the Construction Manager.
  • Oversee subcontractors to achieve high-quality outcomes while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Engage with clients to swiftly address and resolve any issues.
  • Report directly to the Regional Construction Manager.
  • Develop time management skills for conducting inspections and managing multiple punch lists and quality control items.
  • Maintain a tidy job site for the benefit of subcontractors, clients, and local authorities.
  • Implement OSHA safety standards and adhere to the company’s safety protocols.
  • Participate in cross-training initiatives to acquire new skills and broaden scope for career advancement.
  • Commit to our established quality improvement processes and embrace a philosophy of continuous enhancement.
  • Actively identify and respond to the needs of all clients with sensitivity.
  • Contribute as a collaborative team member across all organizational phases and remain adaptable to change.
  • Complete training programs relevant to all scopes within the company.
  • Order and inspect materials delivered to the site.
  • Provide daily updates using digital tools.
  • Learn to interpret construction plans as required by project scope.
  • Fulfill all mandatory company-specific training.
  • Physically engage in field installations and related tasks as assigned by the Regional Construction Manager.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Familiarity with common building materials utilized in residential, multi-family, and commercial construction.
  • Trade skills and knowledge related to residential fit and finish installations.
  • Experience with deck and handrail installations.
  • Strong organizational abilities are essential.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Efficient in completing tasks within specified deadlines.
  • Strong work ethic with a focus on achieving goals and working collaboratively.
  • Proficient in computer usage (Microsoft Windows, Office, and general internet applications).
  • Able to lift and carry 75 lbs independently.
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
  • 10 Hour OSHA Certification is required within three months of hire.
Additional Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management is advantageous.
  • A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation are necessary.
