Lead Nurse Practitioner - Patient Care
About the JobWe are seeking a skilled Lead Nurse Practitioner to oversee patient care at our skilled nursing facility. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality care is provided to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans that promote resident well-being and independence.
- Conduct regular rounds to assess resident condition and report any changes or concerns to the Director of Nurses.
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Supervise and monitor nurse aides to ensure they provide high-quality care.
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas in good standing.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
