About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Tech to join our team at Bon Secours Mercy Health. As a Radiology Tech, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and perform diagnostic imaging procedures as prescribed by licensed practitioners.
  • Apply principles of ALARA to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others.
  • Assist in maintaining medical records and respecting confidentiality.
  • Educate and monitor students and other healthcare providers.
  • Perform ongoing quality assurance activities and evaluate images for technical quality.
  • Identify and respond to emergency situations and prepare patients for procedures.
  • Provide optimal patient care and receive, relay, and document verbal, written, and electronic orders.
  • Select the appropriate protocol and optimize technical factors while maximizing patient safety.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or related field preferred.
  • Current certification in radiologic technology from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
