We are currently looking for a Driver Supervisor to become a vital part of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboard and train new drivers.
  • Engage in daily communication with drivers to address and resolve issues promptly.
  • Coordinate driver schedules and ensure all routes are adequately staffed.
  • Oversee driver and vehicle performance, including monitoring fuel expenses, overtime, and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage fleet operations, customer routing, and truck schedules.
  • Utilize GPS systems to ensure adherence to DOT regulations.
  • Possession of a CDL License and familiarity with DOT regulations is advantageous.
  • Step in as a backup driver when necessary.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a keen eye for detail, capable of thriving in a dynamic environment. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to interact professionally with both internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is preferred.

Financial Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial aspects of overtime routes to enhance profitability.
  • Maintain driver schedules, training, DOT compliance, and time management.
  • Review logs for accuracy and completeness while resolving issues through frequent ride-alongs with drivers.

Employee Development:

Foster communication, coaching, and employee success while documenting performance-related matters.

Fleet Maintenance:

Ensure the proper upkeep of the truck fleet, communicating equipment needs and replacement requirements to management to enhance driver safety, productivity, and efficiency.

Route Optimization:

Review and refine truck routes, implementing changes to improve efficiency and reduce costs as necessary.

Safety Compliance:

Collaborate with management to promote and enforce our Safety Program initiatives, ensuring a safe and clean work environment while complying with OSHA and other relevant regulations.

Incident Management:

Investigate and document accidents, providing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

Additional Duties:

Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.
