As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical care, training and guiding support staff, and ensuring seamless operations in our small animal facility.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and training to support staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Deliver medical care to patients under the supervision of a veterinarian, including laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, surgery, dental, and nursing skills.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients, providing excellent client care and education.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical, client, and case-related information.
- Participate in 360-degree employee performance evaluations and provide feedback to support staff development.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- State Department of Regulation Licensing required.
- 1+ Years of Veterinary industry experience required.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb, as well as manipulate up to 50 pounds and over 50 pounds with a coworker.
- Ability to work in a noisy environment with sounds from animals and equipment.
- Ability to be exposed to a variety of pets that may bite or scratch, and on occasion, exposed to anesthesia, radiation, biological hazards, and medication/controlled substances.
