Surgical Technologist

SSM Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Operating Room. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing equipment and supplies, maintaining aseptic technique, and communicating effectively with the surgical team.
Responsibilities- Prepare equipment, supplies, and resources for surgical procedures.
- Maintain aseptic technique and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with the surgical team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses.
- Assist with patient positioning, draping, and other aspects of surgical care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records.
- Graduate of a technical program for operating room technicians.
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification or equivalent.
