About the Role:

MGS Mfg. Group is seeking a skilled Electrical Controls Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for the support of electrical control circuits, machine software, and programming architecture in the production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, improve, and provide production support to allow equipment to run efficiently and perform as needed.
  • Design and implement safety circuitry and understand safety categories.
  • Program ancillary devices, including servo systems, robotics, vision, and motion controllers.
  • Generate, communicate, and implement ideas and solutions.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in completing tasks timely.
  • Look for ways to improve and promote quality.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited two-year technical college program in Electronic/Electrical field of study, or a four-year bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Understanding of typical industrial wiring schematics and diagrams.
  • Basic knowledge of industrial controls circuitry.
