Role Overview:

Insight Global is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator for a prominent client in the Health and Fitness sector. The individual in this role will be tasked with ensuring the precision of inventory records across both Corporate and Franchise Locations. Key responsibilities include conducting inventory counts, generating inventory reports, and verifying that inventory is either procured or stored in the warehouse.

The Inventory Control Coordinator will manage the establishment and upkeep of the accounting system's inventory module, which is essential for tracking inventory levels and processing inventory through sales orders. This position will also involve preparing reconciliations for balance sheet accounts related to inventory and accounts payable for purchase orders, as well as reconciling cost of goods sold accounts and executing month-end journal entries.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management.
  • Strong understanding of general ledger processes related to ordering, receiving, selling, and adjusting inventory levels.
  • Proficiency with ERP Systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
