Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Modeler to join our team at GeoYeti. As a Data Modeler, you will be responsible for developing and modifying data models to support our clients' advanced analytics and data science needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new and modify existing data models to support data analysis and visualization
  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop data structures
  • Conduct business process analysis and requirements gathering to develop formal data structures
  • Research and evaluate technical aspects of IT systems with respect to data handling and analysis capabilities and constraints
  • Research and evaluate the user experience and methods employed by users of various IT systems

Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope poly required to start
  • 3-5 years of experience with data modeling tools, processes, and artifacts
  • Experience working on projects with implemented designs
  • Effective communication working in diverse teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with ontology, semantic web, and data modeling concepts
  • Python programming and unix command line script experience
  • Data engineering / ETL experience
  • API building experience
