About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at American Family Care Lansdale. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our staff to ensure efficient patient flow and exceptional patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough health histories, review patient records, and develop comprehensive medical assessments to determine the best course of treatment.
  • Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses and implement therapy or referrals to appropriate healthcare facilities, agencies, and resources.
  • Provide emergency care and stabilization measures as needed, including cardiac arrest, shock, hemorrhage, convulsions, poisoning, and allergic reactions.
  • Interpret and analyze patient data to determine patient status, management, and treatment.
  • Offer guidance and education to patients, families, and significant others regarding healthcare and health promotion.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional appearance and attitude.
  • ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certification (with 1 year ER/UC experience preferred).
  • Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate, as required.
  • Able to multitask and work independently.
