Fitness Coach

At Planet Fitness, we're committed to creating a Judgement Free Zone where everyone can feel comfortable and achieve their fitness goals. As a Fitness Trainer, you'll play a vital role in helping our members reach their full potential.

• Lead Fitness Programs: Conduct and run our group fitness programs, including creating and following the schedule.
• Member Support: Consult with members regarding their fitness goals and instruct them on how to properly and safely use our equipment.
• Club Ambassador: Help promote our Judgement Free Zone by connecting with members on the club floor, offering assistance and support in their fitness journeys while upholding club policies.
• Club Maintenance: Frequently perform a comprehensive walk of all fitness areas to ensure a great member experience. Quickly address issues as they are identified.
• Content Creation: Create bi-weekly updates consisting of a variety of exercises.
• Class Management: Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic.
• Member Support: Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.

• Front Desk Support: Assist in front desk related activities, including answering phones, checking members into the system, new member sign-up, taking prospective members on tours, and facilitating needed updates to member's accounts.
• Club Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club, including cleaning and sanitizing of all exercise equipment and Black Card spa amenities.

• Experience: Previous Fitness Trainer/Instructor experience preferred.
• Certifications: Nationally Certified Training Certificate required.
• Personal Qualities: A passion for fitness and health, upbeat and positive attitude, punctuality and reliability, exceptional customer service skills, strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve, and diplomacy in all interactions.
• Education: High School diploma/GED equivalent preferred.
