Job Summary:
Piedmont Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Practice Specialist to join our team in Surgical Telemetry and Observation. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supporting the growth and development of our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis
- Supervise staff to ensure appropriate care is delegated and delivered
- Support the Chief Nursing Officer in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
- Collaborate with nurse manager and director to address critical vacancy situations
- Participate in market nursing support initiatives
Requirements:
- Associates degree in Nursing required
- One year of telemetry experience preferred
- CCRN preferred
- A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside is required
- American Heart Association BLS CPR required
- American Heart Association ACLS is required within 6 months of hire for PCU
