Austin Lakes Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Senior Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of nurses to deliver exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
- Lead and manage a team of nurses, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure excellent patient care and team performance.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure excellent patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading a team of nurses.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a public health setting, providing patient care and leading a team of nurses.
- Knowledge of Electronic Health Records systems, such as eClinical Works.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
