Job Title: Security Risk Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Risk Analyst to join our team at Southern Home Care Services, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively monitoring the threat landscape and current controls to evaluate the effectiveness of our security tools and implement appropriate safeguards and controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement security controls to reduce the likelihood and impact of security incidents
  • Assist in performing risk assessments of internal and external applications/solutions to determine their adherence to security controls, company policies, and industry best practices
  • Perform audits on processes to ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Collaborate across the organization and with external parties to remediate security gaps
  • Communicate security risks and solutions to business partners and IT staff as needed
Requirements:
  • Three or more years of experience in security risk analysis or a related field
  • Strong understanding of security principles and best practices
  • Experience with security tools and systems
  • Experience in IT security in a healthcare environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
