Job Overview

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

The main goal of this role is to drive Sales Revenue and Contribution Margin that align with the strategic objectives of O-Flex Group, Inc. This position involves direct engagement with client representatives in purchasing and engineering sectors, addressing all Requests for Quotation related to pricing, capacity, timelines, and specific customer requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Travel extensively, dedicating approximately 75% of time to enhance sales efforts with both new and existing clientele.
  • Collaborate across various organizational levels to devise fulfillment strategies that meet or surpass customer expectations, including price negotiations and administrative needs.
  • Provide the Executive Team with valuable market insights and competitive intelligence, recommending strategic actions as necessary.
  • Assist in formulating the annual sales forecast and contribute to the development of a two-year Strategic Sales Plan.
  • Support Quality and Customer Service Departments in addressing any quality-related inquiries from customers.
  • Engage in Project Launch and Product Development meetings to keep customers informed and involved.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing and Product Engineering teams to prepare accurate pricing proposals and information requests promptly.
  • Contribute to the creation of marketing materials such as web content, brochures, and customer presentations.
  • Actively participate in achieving company goals regarding cost, quality, profitability, productivity, customer service, and employee relations.
  • Complete and submit formal monthly reports to management.
  • Maintain expertise in all operational aspects and product offerings.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

Continuously seek improvements in assigned functions to eliminate non-value-added tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A bachelor's degree in Business or a related technical field is preferred.

  • At least five years of experience in sectors such as aluminum products, medical devices, aerospace, or marine industries.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities to effectively engage with all levels of customer management, design, engineering, and purchasing personnel, as well as internal teams.
  • Proficient in multitasking with a keen attention to detail, along with strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Access, MS Project, PowerPoint, and similar software applications.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This role may require exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and involves predominantly sedentary work, with some walking and standing required intermittently.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Employees should be aware of potential exposure to hazardous materials and environmental changes. The ability to work under pressure from personnel, visitors, and departmental needs is essential, along with proper body mechanics to prevent injuries.
