Job Description

At Techota Limited Liability Corporation, we are seeking a skilled Healthcare Liaison Specialist to promote our home health services to the medical community. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, ability to set and accomplish goals, and the ability to respond to competitive marketplace practices.

The successful candidate will develop and implement physician and referral source education on home care services, and advance community educational activities on behalf of the company. This position involves establishing rapport with physicians' offices, identifying and promoting agency services, and developing working relationships with discharge planning and social service departments.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma with a minimum of two years of experience in sales, preferably in the medical or home health field. Registered Nurse, License Professional Nurse, Social Worker, Educator, or Discharge Planner experience is a plus. The candidate must also have a current driver's license and automobile liability insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strategic plan with clear goals and objectives for the healthcare market
  • Establish rapport with physicians' offices to facilitate communication between home health agency and staff
  • Identify and promote agency services to previous and existing referral sources to warrant continued referrals
  • Develop working relationships with discharge planning and social service department at area facilities
  • Distribute medical documents/orders to physicians within established time limits
  • Develop and implement education plans for specialty programs for physicians and facilities
  • Monitor the effectiveness of plans and education efforts through weekly/monthly reports
  • Promote the organization through community service programs, i.e., health fairs, health screening programs, and in-service education
  • Maintain productivity of no less than 35+ referral contacts per week
  • Achieve monthly Personal Production Goals / PPG

Requirements:

  • High school diploma with a minimum of two years of experience in sales; medical or home health preferred
  • Registered Nurse, License Professional Nurse, Social Worker, Educator, Discharge Planner experience a plus
  • Current driver's license and automobile liability insurance
  • 80% travel / 20% agency office
