Ultrasound Specialist Perinatal

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Tech Perinatal to join our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations, maintaining a high standard of patient care, and working collaboratively with our physicians and staff.
Responsibilities- Perform consistently accurate and high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations, with a focus on OB/GYN.
- Apply fetal ultrasound principles in the evaluation of fetal anomalies, and gynecological ultrasound principles in the evaluation of patients.
- Adapt to various ultrasound machines while maintaining high standards of sonography.
- Identify fetal anomalies, such as CNS, maxillofacial, cardiothoracic, abdomen, abdomen wall, genitourinary, extremity placental, umbilical cord growth disturbance.
- Perform ultrasounds on maternal uterus, cervix, and ovaries.
- Perform complicated twin and triplet scans in conjunction with in-office multiple gestation service.
- Identify gynecological anomalies, such as fibroids, thickened endometrium, and polyps.
- Maintain ultrasound logging records, including past medical history, past surgical history, past obstetric history, and past genetic history.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including Level I & II ultrasounds, amniocentesis, lung maturity amniocentesis, PUBS, amniotic reduction, external cephalic version, and GYN ultrasound.
- Exercise independent judgment when interpreting Biophysical Profiles designed to assess fetal well-being.
- Alert physicians of potentially dangerous conditions.
- Diagnose fetal weight disturbances based on fetal biometry.
- Diagnose multiple fetal anomalies and report and demonstrate them to physicians.
- Associates degree in Ultrasound, required.
- Bachelors degree, preferred.
- At least one year of related experience.
- RDMS, required.
- RDMS OB/GYN, preferred.
