Job Title: Business Analyst/ PowerBI Report Developer

This role will oversee the maintenance, development, and publication of business reports and analysis to support the Technology Services department. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supporting SOW Logix internal trackers and other support systems. The position will also support Power BI reporting and the development of new reporting while enhancing the current Power App application. A successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of administering and developing reports/solutions with Microsoft products.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and administer Power BI dashboards, Power Apps, Power Automate, and their interfaces.
  • Handle customer technical support cases for MS Power BI, MS Power Apps, and SharePoint.
  • Generate ad-hoc data requests via Azure SQL DB.
  • Maintain application functionality by testing components to new and current solutions.
  • Review and update supporting documentation and templates as continuous improvement for enterprise apps in Technology Services.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and streamlining processes.
  • Provide administration support for the applications on the team, including troubleshooting issues.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers as well as internal teams.
  • Financial data analysis, including an understanding of estimated and actual technology expenses.
  • Assist in all aspects of the Statement of Work Approval Process, including reviewing statements of works and other contracts, understanding time and materials and fixed bid contracts, identifying incorrect, inconsistent, and incomplete data entries in the designated contract approval workflow, working closely with suppliers to ensure statements of work meet standards, and developing relationships with appropriate contacts within TS management and Finance.
  • Keep information confidential based on client's confidentiality procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college/university in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent, and five or more years of professional experience in the information systems field.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
  • In-depth knowledge of Excel, including Pivot tables and Excel functions.
  • Possess strong project and process documentation skills.
  • High-level proficiency in supporting customers through excellent listening and strong commitment to service excellence.
  • Proficient written/verbal communications skills, including the ability to explain complex scenarios to others with varying levels of expertise throughout the organization.
  • Ability to interact effectively with various levels within the organization.
  • Must be a self-starter, proactive, have strong quantitative analysis skills, and be able to work under time and performance pressures.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced team environment.
  • High level of comfort working within cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills: Strong data visualization tools, report writing, critical, and data analytic skills; interactive dashboard building experience; Technology Services experience.

Required Skills: Power BI administration and dashboard management, Excel power user, Power Automate experience, RDBMS (SQL and Azure).
