We are seeking a seasoned Senior Tax Accountant to join our Sturgis, South Dakota office. This role offers a unique blend of professional growth opportunities, flexibility, and a competitive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare tax returns for individuals, businesses, and non-profits.
- Collaborate with clients to develop personalized tax planning strategies.
- Review and finalize adjusting entries for business clients ahead of tax return preparation.
- Mentor and review the work of junior staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- CPA license or Enrolled Agent certification is highly preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in tax preparation, including individual, corporate, and partnership returns.
- Competitive compensation with performance-based incentive bonuses.
- Flexible work environment with Fridays off during the off-season.
- Paid Continuing Professional Education (CPE) for CPAs and Enrolled Agents.
