About the Job:Sycamore Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and skilled Therapist for Children with Special Needs to join our team. As a Developmental Therapist, you will work with children and families to assess and address developmental delays and disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's developmental needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support children's developmental growth.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement IFSPs.
- Provide direct therapy sessions, including instructing, motivating, and assisting children in sensory-motor activities.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client data and progress notes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in special education, elementary education, early childhood education, child development, or a related field.
- Special education teaching license.
- Experience working with developmentally delayed or at-risk children.
- Knowledge of theories and methods in testing and evaluating child development.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
