Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavior Intervention Specialist to join our team at Sycamore Rehabilitation. In this role, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to design and implement behavior intervention plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.

About the Role

As a Behavior Intervention Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing behavioral goals and recommending intervention techniques. You will also provide staff training, design data collection formats, and serve as a resource to staff, parents, and providers. Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement individualized behavior intervention plans that address specific behavioral goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to assess behavioral challenges and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Provide training and support to staff on effective behavioral interventions and data collection techniques.
  • Conduct regular progress monitoring and data analysis to inform treatment planning and goal setting.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of behavioral interventions and progress.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and providers to ensure seamless implementation of behavioral plans.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in clinical psychology, school psychology, or a related field.
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, licensed clinical social worker, or licensed mental health counselor.
  • 5 years of experience in devising, implementing, and monitoring behavior support plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, along with opportunities for professional growth and development.
