About the Role

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Compliance Specialist to join our team at ABOUT HEALTHCARE INC. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our controls and processes meet the highest standards of security and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and implement security controls to ensure compliance with NIST 800-53 and HITRUST frameworks.
  • Maintain and track compliance across various security frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security policy and risk issues are addressed throughout project life cycles.
  • Develop and maintain key performance metrics to track and ensure compliance with established policies and standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in IT, with 2+ years' experience in cybersecurity compliance.
  • Ability to be successfully credentialed for Veterans Affairs (VA) systems access.
  • Certifications in cybersecurity, such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
  • Experience with compliance assessments, including SOC, HITRUST, FedRamp, NIST, etc.
